New Primark outlet to be located in the large shopping center to the east of the capital.
Primark, the low-cost Irish fashion chain, has announced that it will open a second store in Rome, at the RomaEst shopping mall, on 1 June.
The opening comes seven months after the retail giant launched in the capital with a 7,000-sqm store at the new Maximo mall in the south of the city.
The Roma Est venue, which brings to seven the number of Primark stores in Italy, will employ 350 people.
The opening of Rome’s first Primark outlet coincided with Black Friday sales, leading to long queues of eager shoppers.
